Use Case Discovery

The RTI Use Case Discovery (UCD) allows you to make efficient infrastructure decisions based on your specific use cases. It enables you to quickly ascertain the state-of-the industry from an infrastructure and middle­ware perspective. This, in turn, enables your team to make efficient architectural and technology decisions very early in the project life cycle, based on your specific use cases and business drivers.

The UCD provides both an introduction to the fundamental concepts of architecting systems with the RTI middleware and a two-day "technical deep-dive" at your site. RTI will work with your team to develop known use-cases and business drivers, identify unstated or emergent use-cases, parameterize functional require­ments and identify potential infrastructure gaps or issues. The resulting presentation will document these findings and chart a technology roadmap specifically tailored to your project. As a result, your team will be able to accelerate your business results by maximizing COTS value, driving down costs while deploying in a timely and efficient manner.
